Ambitious President,
August 4th, 1961 marks the day you were born. Pacific to the ocean, spam and pine apple dishes crowed in tourism, cut throat and vicious, that became a mission that soon became a vision. The location to be exact, Honolulu, which overcame a presidential potential, who knew?
Ambitious President,
Later he would begin a struggle as a child caught in the midst between a Mother, and a Father who you loved both, but a situation that gave you a glove that fit well with divorce and that, unfortunately he had to endorse.
Ambitious President,
Fatherless could have driven you insane, but instead you maintained; an intervention not needed although your academic addictions begin to show at an early age. Playing basketball was your therapy, overcoming racism due to your African heritage.
Ambitious President,
A young man inspired by Martin Luther King, Gandhi and Lincoln, leaders from the past that were concerned about finding religion, instead of driving a Lincoln, Bentley, Beamer or Benz.
Ambitious President,
Harvard Law school graduate, civil rights advocate, the streets became your heart and the people became your soul, as you campaigned through the shoes of your sole step-by-step you planted a seed into the inter cities, soul.
Ambitious President,
Now a Senate for Illinois, the images of Chicago produce “hella” noise that echo of poverty, prostitution and drug addiction, all of the above illusions that would drive him to the conclusion for ethical change, and for that he worked with Democrats and Republicans in drafting legislation that changed.
Ambitious President Barack Obama,
I watched you during your presidential inauguration with a classic look of accomplishment on your African descent face knowing you descended from perseverance, struggle, and the world watched you as you stood motionless, but in motion tears poured around the world that day. I guess you could say, it rained that day.
Ambitious President.
^This poem I wrote has nothing to do with Barrack Obama as a president, but as an Ambitious person who became the President of the United States of America, and you can take that how you want.
